In her new novel, the author of Mutant Message Down Under tells the story of aboriginal twins who grow up apart. The boy is adopted by an American family and raised with little sense of who he really is. The girl is sent to an orphanage in Australia where she learns nothing of her culture and experiences continual racism. As adults, their search for their lost spiritual and cultural roots reunites them from opposite sides of the world.
