Videographers spent years on Ani DiFranco's trail, capturing the L'il Folksinger onstage, in the studio and on the tour bus. Ani herself then shaped their footage into this very personal self-portrait. The resulting full-length movie, drawing on material from as far back as 1997, focuses on her 2000 and 2001 tours. An impressionistic collage takes you way behind the scenes, listening as a new song takes shape, hearing the stories behind some older ones.
