This is the first translation in any Western language of the biographies of a rare Tibetan Buddhist lineage, the Shangpa Kagyu Masters. First written by the masters themselves between five hundred and one thousand years ago in West-Central Tibet, these colorful and poignant tales have retained their power to inspire and even emancipate.
