Redefining the concept of the mature Wiccan as a positive role model for elder Wiccan women, the authors show the Crone as a powerful symbol that embodies all phases of a woman's life - Maiden, Mother and Crone - in one. They trace the role of the traditional Crone and her meaning to cultures of antiquity, define today's Crone, and examine changing concepts of the elder. Suggestions for crafts, journalings, rituals and meditations are included.
