Examining William Blake's masterpiece The Marriage of Heaven & Hell through the lens of Carl Jung's psychological theories, a well-known Jungian analyst shows that Blake was actually tapping into the collective unconscious, giving form and voice to the primordial psychological energies that he experienced in his inner and outer worlds. This thoughtful study has been re-titled for those unfamiliar with the Blakean context of its original title, The Unholy Bible.
